Presented in 1988, Japan’s first pure gold wedding gown was an exceptional creation crafted with 25 meters of Saga Nishiki fabric. Pure gold leaf was cut into fine strips and woven into Saga Nishiki fabric by Nishijin artisans in Kyoto over a period of six months.
